Guest sentiment
A snapshot of what local diners frequently mention about this location.
"This café is such a beautiful and cozy place! The pastry selection is impressive — from elegant cakes to creative croffles, everything looks and tastes amazing. The coffee was smooth and well-prepared, and I especially loved the latte art. The atmosphere is spacious and welcoming, perfect for relaxing with friends or even studying. Definitely one of the best bakeries and coffee spots in the area!"
"Very cool place. The process of picking what you want out of the boxes your self is fun. They have a lot of cool unique stuff. My favorites were the lemon meringue donut and crème brûlée. All the stuff we tried was all pretty good l, especially considering we went in the afternoon. I’m sure everything would be even better if we went earlier when things were made fresh. I got a mint drink that was also pretty good. Definitely recommend checking this place out."
"We went in the late morning on a Saturday and there was an amazing selection of both savory and sweet pastries. It was snowy weather so there was plenty of parking and seating readily available inside. The young man at the register was knowledgeable on the variety of drinks and helped us make good selectiona - both lattes were delicious! We will surely be back, there were so many more options of drinks and food we still want to try :)"
"Really enjoyed the croissant I had! It was an amazing textural experience with a crunchy sugary shell and pecans on the outside and the soft, stretchy, buttery dough on the inside that is to be expected from a great croissant! I also had a pain au chocolate which was okay, pretty standard for a chocolate croissant. Service at checkout was very friendly. It was a bit hard to find parking on a busy Sunday and seating options were limited since the place is very popular, so just be prepared for that! I would definitely return to try more baked goods!"
"I always get coffee from here and it is always so good , the caramel macchiato or even the tiramisu latter so delicious. I wanted to try the matcha from there and I was so disappointed. First they made the matcha less than a minute, that only worried me because it would not be fresh. And I was right. The match was dull color , and you can still see the powder chucks in the matcha. So disappointing all this for $7. Save your money don’t buy the matcha from here go to Neko Nook Gaithersburg for actually good quality matcha. Stick to coffee here that I do recommend."
"I love all the bakeries in Rockville, etc. This one had an OK selection. It had quite a few quiche options which I was looking for as a breakfast option. I had the mushroom which was quite tasty. Service was good and that atmosphere was nice in a roomy dining area but I took it to go b/c I was in a meeting in the Hilton across the street."
"They have a large, and beautiful selection of baked goods. I opted for plain croissants, which were perfectly flaky and buttery, with a crispy exterior. The Matcha is top notch."
"Great place and atmosphere to hangout. Bread is also delicious and the staff are friendly and polite. Saw the manager (or probably the owner) also doing quality checks on their products Will come back again! :) Highly recommended!"
